Jessica Alba In Fantastic Four

20th Century Fox’s forthcoming film “Invisible Girl” will have Jessica Alba starring in the lead role. The movie is based upon the Marvel Comics version of the Fantastic Four.

Jessica Alba plays the part of Susan Storm who undergoes complete transformation after being accidentally exposed to an experimental gadget in space. All her colleagues, including her inventor fiancé Reed Richards and the two pilots Benn Grimm and Johnny Storm are disassembled and then reorganized atom-by-atom shortly following their comeback to Earth.

They all demonstrate extraordinarily incredible powers now. Jessica acquires the power to become invisible and turns into the “Invisible Woman”! Reed becomes “Mr. Fantastic” after attaining the power to stretch. After acquiring the power to ignite a fire Johnny becomes the Human Torch, while Ben develops into a rocky and powerful being, hence creating--the Thing!

While working on the sets of the ‘Fantastic Four’, John Byrne the writer/artist/makeover man was responsible for changing Jessica’s diehard Stone Age look, which she had for years. By re-naming Susan Storm as the “Invisible Woman”, he effected a total transformation of the earlier image of Jessica Alba, to help her live up to the role. The director of the movie Peyton Reed stated that working on “Fantastic Four” was a unique experience.

As per Byrne Jessica Alba’s character in the ‘Fantastic Four’ was much more forceful with much more leadership qualities than her husband. She not only had impressive powers but she was also beautiful. This was quite a change because previously she represented the role model wife or mother in the likes of Donna Reed, which easily went together with her newly acquired strong character of Invisible Woman. It was a much-desired change, which, the beautiful Jessica Alba carried with élan to bring the character of Sue to life onscreen.
